Designed in 1977 by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, the Destroy shirt is one of the most iconic and controversial pieces in punk fashion history. The graphics were intended as a provocative act of denouncing corruption and dictatorship — very clearly an anti-racism, anti-fascist statement.

Towards the late 1970s, Westwood licensed some of her graphics from the SEX/Seditionaries period to other sellers. Beyond the official licensing to BOY London, the Destroy design has been reproduced over the decades both authorized and unauthorized. This example appears to date to the 1980s.

The shirt is in excellent condition — no holes or major visual flaws. Single-stitched sleeves and hem. Please review the photos for full details.
