Vivienne Westwood 1980's - Snow White &  The Sir Punks

Size: M – Roach Tag
Measurements: 18" x 27"

This is one of the most notorious shirts to emerge from the Seditionaries era. The origins of the graphic trace back to 1967, when the satirical magazine The Realist published an unsigned cartoon mural by artist Wally Wood, depicting Disney icons engaged in acts of debauchery. Westwood was fond of this illustration and reappropriated it across a variety of prints released throughout her involvement with the Seditionaries line — the "Snow White & The Sir Punks" graphic being the first.

Original examples date to around 1977 and carry the Seditionaries label from 430 King's Road, Chelsea. This version was likely reproduced by someone else in the 80's.

The shirt is in amazing condition overall, with no serious flaws. Single stitched on the sleeves and hem, true to the era. Please review the pictures for more details.

Note on Vintage Condition:

The item offered is the exact shirt photographed. As with any vintage item, it may show signs of wear such as minor pinholes, fraying, or light discoloration. Please review photos carefully.
