"Jesus Built My Hotrod" was the first single from Ministry's fifth studio album, Psalm 69. Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers provides the distinctive scat-like vocals on the track, including the memorable "ding dang a dong bong bing bong / ticky ticky thought of a gun."
